Today I am thankful. I am thankful for a roof over my head and food to eat. I am thankful for the freedoms and liberties of this great nation I am proud to call home.
Thankful for community.
Thankful for nurses, doctors and medical staff.
Thankful for ranchers, farmers and truck drivers.
Thankful for ordinary people who do ordinary jobs like stocking the shelves at grocery stores, serving food at restaurants, and gas station workers.
Thankful for custodians and janitors and those who make sure our world is clean, not just today but every day.
Thankful for teachers.
Thankful for law enforcement and our military who sacrifice so much to keep us safe and free.
Thankful for plumbers, electricians, engineers, scientists.
Thankful for marketers, designers, photographers, and advocates who help companies and operations get traffic.
Thankful for the postal service workers and stay at home moms.
Thankful for pilots and captains.
Thankful for mothers, fathers, friends, and family.
Most of all I am thankful for my faith and Jesus Christ. Life isn’t perfect, but if we follow Him and trust in Him, our life will be part of His PERFECT plan.
We have so much to be thankful for even in crisis. Ordinary people make this world go around. I pray that even after this is over, we are still thankful for each other because we ALL help play a part in how the world operates.
Today I challenge you to lift one another up and encourage each other – today and every day. May we never take for granted or criticize what each of us does as a career.
Stay tuned,
